Roasted Cherry Burrata Appetizer with Honey & Basil

This roasted cherry burrata appetizer blends creamy burrata, sweet roasted cherries, honey, basil, and hazelnuts for a fresh, crowd-pleasing starter. Perfect with toasted bread and easy to prep ahead!

Ingredients
  

Roasted Cherries

  • 18-24 Bing Cherries, pitted and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoon Honey
  • pinch Salt
  • splash Champagne Vinegar

Burrata

  • 2 Portions Burrata, sliced in half *serves about 4

Toppings & Garnish

  • Fresh Basil, chiffonade
  • Hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  • Extra Honey, Drizzle
  • Salt

To Serve

  • Toasted Baguette

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 °F
  • Prep cherries and add to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, honey, and salt. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Pour the cherries onto a cooking sheet. Roast for 8–10 minutes, or until the cherries begin to soften and some start to burst
  • Remove the cherries and add them back to the mixing bowl. Add a splash of champagne vinegar.
  • Prep platter with burrata halves, top with chopped hazelnuts, basil, and the roasted cherries.
  • Drizzle with a little more olive oil and honey, and finish with a pinch of sea salt to taste. Serve with warm, toasty baguette slices on the side.
