Spicy Strawberry Guava Mocktail
Ingredients
- Juice of One Lime
- ½ cup Guava Nectar
- 1 tablespoon Freeze-Dried Strawberries *or 2 Fresh Strawberries
- ½ teaspoon Hot Honey
- 1 12 oz Bottle of Topo Chico Mineral Water
- Ice
Rim
- Hot Honey
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- pinch of Chili Powder
- 1 tablespoon Freeze Dried Strawberries, crushed
- Fresh Strawberries
Instructions
- Clean fresh Strawberries for garnish, set them to the side.
- Crush the freeze dried strawberries into a powder. Combine the strawberries, salt, sugar, and chili powder for the rim.
- Pour some hot honey onto a flat plate and dip the rim (or one side) of the glass into the honey, allowing the powder mixture to stick.
- Dip the rim into the strawberry, salt, sugar, and chili mixture.
- Add ice ÂĽ of the way up your drink mixer. Add the lime juice and freeze dried strawberries to the ice. Muddle and crush the strawberry with the lime. Add more ice to the shaker and add the guava nectar to the mixture. Add the hot honey and cover. Shake well.
- Add fresh ice to each of the rimmed glasses, pour the drink halfway up your glasses leaving space on top.
- Top off each glass with the Topo Chico Mineral Water. Add a fresh strawberry to the rim. Cheers!
